Step 1: Grab your board and start laying out equal sized rectangles of cheese in a U shape. Overlap the rectangles slightly to make a smooth curve. Cut 2 slightly larger rectangles to be the top of the horseshoe.
Step 2: Add a few blueberries on top of the horseshoe to be the “nails”
Step 3: Fill in around the horseshoe with the remaining meats and vegetables. Make sure your horseshoe really pops by using white cheese and darker colored accompaniments and tucking them under the cheese
Step 4 (Opt): For the horseshoe brie, print and cut the horseshoe template to fit the size of your brie. Trace around the template with a sharp paring knife. Remove the template and use a small spoon to lift and remove the brie rind creating a horseshoe shaped well. Save a few pieces of the ring and cut into small squares. Carefully fill the space with jam, wiping off anything that spills over. Place reserved rind squares on top of the jam as nails!
Step 5: Add crunch. Small bowls are perfect for salty snack so nothing gets soggy next to vegetables.
Step 6(Opt): Print and cut horseshoe template and tape to toothpicks. Stick and go!
