No post-it no problem! Use rocks to leave messages of love around your garden or the house! It’s easy! Just wash and dry the rocks so they are clear of soil (or purchase river rocks specifically for painting) Then spell out I <3 U or any other thought! Paint pens work best for writing letters—especially permanent ones. Use as many rocks as you need letters, whether you’re spelling out CONGRATS, MARRY ME? (reply with I DO rocks!), GOOD LUCK or a simple YOU ROCK! Or, use everyone’s initials to make rock “monograms” or love notes (A.N. & D.M.)
One rock can host two words—one on each side. Just write on the first side, then, once it’s dry, flip it over and add the second word. You could make a phrase like Hi/There, or turn it into a game with words like Truth and Dare—flip them over to reveal an answer. Or, you can write True and False for an action-packed game of two Truths and a Lie, where everyone shows their rock to assess your answer.
Of course, you can write any word that has a sentiment you want to share—Breathe, Love, Create—and give it to someone who’d be inspired by looking at it on a paperweight every day (yes, that can be yourself!). Or, write a short phrase: a boost of confidence like You Can Do It! Or Dream Big!
