String soft or gummy candies into super-sweet necklaces.
What You’ll Need:
- Unflavored, waxed dental floss
- Sharp needle
- Soft or gummy candy such as candy corn, gummy bears and candy corn pumpkins (the softer the candy, the easier)
- Black and/or orange ribbons (optional)
How to:
Step 1 Cut a strand of dental floss and thread through needle and knot at the other end, leaving four inches hanging below the knot
Step 2 String candies onto floss and knot at other end when done
Step 3 Tie ends of floss together to create necklace
OPTIONAL: Add ribbon
Step 1 Instead of tying ends of dental floss together when finished, tie off other, leaving four inches beyond the knot.
Step 2 Cut ribbon into two 12-inch pieces.
Step 3 Tie each ribbon piece to each end of dental floss (you can also sew on)
Step 4 Tie the ribbon around your neck and show off your newest accessory.
