It was such a big hit that I also started to do this for party guests when I entertain. They can take home with them, because they bring joy to your friends and family long after a party is over”.
Fill a bunch of envelopes with little surprises: Lottery tickets, gift cards, fortunes, supportive messages, silly photos. Write instructions on the envelope: “Open when”… “you’re feeling lucky,” “you need a pick-me-up,” “you need inspiration,” “you could use a good laugh.” Put them in a box or bowl and have each party guest pick one up on their way out, to keep the celebration going long after the night end.
